Over the past few years I have had the privilege to be a student at Swati ma’am’s class. I am writing this testimony to express both my gratitude, as well as appreciation for all the learning experiences.
I started taking this class in the 7th grade, after my sister raved about how helpful it was for her. Swati ma’am offered a range of classes, however I chose to specifically learn mathematics. I was not particularly skilled when it came to the subject, and was facing trouble even in school.
However, in a span of only a few months, my understanding had improved, and so had my grades. I came into these classes with a 3 or 4 out of 8 (IB board), and am now leaving with straight 7’s and 8's.
Not only did my grades improve, but I also began to enjoy the subject of math. Math quickly became my favorite subject, and I had learnt to love the process of logically solving a problem. I owe all of this to Swati ma’am’s classes, without these classes I would have never gotten a firm grasp on the topics.
Furthermore, the environment that Swati ma’am creates in her classes is unlike any other. I feel like I always receive her undivided attention when it comes to any doubt or question. She has so many tricks and unique approaches to solving problems that have stuck in my head and helped me through every test, exam and quiz. Additionally, Swati ma’am has amazing resources for every type of student, no matter the school board they come from.
Swati ma’am is different from every other teacher I have ever had, because I have never in my life met anyone who is so passionate about the subject they teach. It is extremely clear how much she truly loves the subject she teaches, and that kind of determination and enthusiasm is so important when teaching others, as it really helps the students understand and enjoy the subject. No math problem is unsolvable to her; I have watched Swati ma’am spend all her time coming up with a solution to a sum even when everyone else gives up all hope. She is ever ready to solve any problem, no matter the time of day; I have many times sent her pictures of questions late at night, and she has always promptly helped me work through them step by step.
She is also so devoted to her students, and cares about her students' well-being more than any other teacher I have had in the past 16 years. Not to mention, she is both adaptable and flexible whenever there is a problem in my schedule, and always lets me do make-up classes on my own time.
Overall, Swati ma’ams classes have been such an amazing experience for me. I now plan on taking higher level math in the 11th standard.
Thank you so much Swati ma'am, for helping me love mathematics and understand it more than I ever have before. These classes have been so beyond helpful, and I would have never made it to where I am without your unwavering support and guidance.
Sincerely,
Anaya Jain
Highly passionate and dedicated to her students, Swati ma’am helped me through IB Math AA HL, as well as the university mathematics admission tests. I can safely say that without her guidance and support, I would not have secured my place at the LSE.

One teacher was the difference.
I’ve always loved Math as a subject, but I used to despise being taught it. I was very passionate about being able to understand the mechanics of numbers, the systems of shapes and the properties of sequences that we can decipher using Math. It is an incredible tool for furthering our understanding of the way almost anything in life works. However, when you use a tool to make something, you use a manual. Manuals and I don’t often get along. A manual may tell you how to assemble a table with a wrench, but they never tell you how to design a table in the first place. Similarly, I was fed numerous manuals to solve questions for exams by my school but I never learned any way to solve something new unless I taught myself.
Most teachers are people who hand out manuals. You can’t a question to a manual. After about 4 tutors who did not help me in any way, I found Swati ma’am and I can scarcely describe what a change it was. I had been asked to stop asking questions in school but being the stubborn fellow I am, I asked her anyway. To my surprise, Swati ma’am was more than happy to explain and explore my question. We spent a great deal of time understanding why certain techniques are used when solving quadratic equations and I left that class with a better understanding of the subject, a new respect for the method I already knew, the ability to manipulate this method to solve new things, and also extremely late! Since then, I tell my parents I’ll be late almost every time I go to her class.
She loves questions, she loves to learn, she loves to help you learn, and above all, she loves Math. I started loving being taught again, because she never forced me to do much, it’s almost like she tricked me into learning by making the class to intriguing and allowing me to ask her help me to figure out why Math works. She has such a vast inventory of Mathematical theories and books that even if you two can’t figure something out, she’ll find you someone who will.
She definitely made me understand Math so much better I now I take great pride when I sit in my room sketching equations or trying to figure out how integrals, sequences or functions can be used to figure out the most commonplace things like what part of the dart board is actually the easiest to hit depending on the relative angle of travel from the throw and the board(it’s so much more complicated than you initially think).
Though I’d like to, I can’t just get rid of those test by deepening my Mathematical knowledge and problem solving. There’s a reason that school tries to make us so brutally efficient by using those manuals. So, before every test, she would compile everything we learned in a few short recap lessons and try her best to make sure we could use everything we learnt as best as possible. Then, after every test, she would go through every single thing I got wrong and go out of her way to figure out how to fix it. She even broke down the way the mark scheme works so we could tackle it properly.
I probably would’ve failed Math without her. Even though I know it’s well within my limits to ace the subject, the monotony, confusion, and militant teaching style in school would’ve held me far back. She’s by no exaggeration the most influential teacher I’ve ever had and I’m so glad I wasn’t afraid to ask her that first question. I think she has something for everyone as long as they give the subject enough respect to understand it and give her enough credit to help you understand.
I really hated learning Math. Then one day, I didn’t. One teacher was the difference.
By attending Swati ma'am's math class for 4 years, not only have my math skills been sharpened, but I have also grown a love for studying the subject.
Swati ma'am thoroughly taught me every single chapter, and always made sure to include extra material from outside the portion. She helped me pour over sums after sums, solving them with me step-by-step, to make sure I understood everything.
Ma'am also helped me learn how to think critically for the application sections of my portion and challenged us with interesting questions that she came across. Over and above being a dedicated and qualified math teacher, Swati ma'am was patient with me when I didn't know something, and always flexible and accommodating enough to take me for class any day and any time.
She cared enough about my learning that she always let me stay beyond my class hours if I needed help, and got onto last minute Zoom calls to solve questions the night before an exam. Overall, I learnt so much about math and how to love studying it by being in Swati ma'am's class.
It’s rare that you come across with a teacher like Swati mam who takes her teaching profession seriously and gives each student personalized attention and builds a right academic perspective in minds of students to help excel in their career.
I was a mediocre student when I met Swati mam. I joined Swati mam's coaching classes in 8th grade (1996). In my initial start, mam focused on improving my fundamental concepts and gave personalized attention until I was comfortable and ready to handle higher level concepts. She made learning of difficult concepts easy by giving relevant examples or breaking them into easy to understand concepts. For me, I personally feel she developed my interest in important subjects like Math and Science, and that turned out to be crucial in my future academic success. There is no doubt that the fundamentals of Math and Science she imbibed in me have long shaped my aspiration and professional life. I did my Bachelors of Engineering from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology in 2004 and then after working in multi-national company for 4 yrs I chose to pursue masters degree from California State University (Cal state). Since then I have been working in US in a multi-national company for past 10 plus years and leading a successful professional life.
Swati mam is a lovable and humble person. Her passion is to teach and help her students achieve their academic goals. I loved going to Swati mam's class as she invoked personal confidence and guided me in my academic journey. For Swati mam, no question is dump question and she encourages student to speak, contribute and participate in class quizzes, discussions and knowledge sharing. Coaching under Swati mam is a mix of fun as well as hard work. Under her guidance students will feel comfortable and earn knowledge by putting right amount of efforts. Her teaching approach is methodical, scientific and emphasize on building confidence in students.
I wish Swati mam more power in her endeavor to assist many such students like me to achieve their academic success !

I still remember Swati Miss, who taught me Mathematics and Science in her coaching class when I was in class 7th. I was not an easy student to teach. I was more inclined towards extra-curricular activities and hardly placed an emphasis on my studies. And my scores, especially in Maths, reflected this. Worried about my lack of concern and seriousness in studies, my mother took me to an astrologer, who said that I would always be weak in Mathematics. This frightened me and I kept this a secret from everyone for years. I doubted my abilities. Then, when I started classes with Swati Miss, there was a huge change in my life. She motivated me and always treated me with empathy and care. She made science and maths more exciting to learn and always tried to keep me above the crowd. She even took the effort to teach me at home, if I wanted to learn something new. Those days changed my life, and my score improved drastically. After that, I continued taking coaching for class XI and X. I don't remember scoring less than 96% in maths during this period. Eventually, I topped my school in class X with 99 marks.
The enthusiasm I now had in Science had brought me so much confidence that I attempted to crack the IIT JEE exam. I started preparing for JEE and cracked it with a good score. So last year (2016) I passed out from IIT Bombay with a B-Tech in chemical engineering.
It is all thanks to Miss Swati, who took the care to change how I think of my career and aim in life. I owe her a big one.
When I joined the IB, mathematics was essentially witchcraft in my head. But after just a couple classes with Swati ma'am, I realised that math isn't just a subject that you study, it's a way of life : the ability to think differently ! Thank you ma'am, for moulding something that I hated, into a hobby that I'm now passionate about ! With Swati ma'am, math is fun :)

When I joined Swati Ma’am’s classes, I had a 2/7 on math HL and I was planning to shift to SL because I was struggling. As soon as ma’am started teaching me, I went to a 6/7 within a month. Now I am pursuing a BSc. Mathematics and Statistics degree at an undergraduate level, hence I owe my entire career to Swati ma’am. She developed a deep-rooted interest in mathematics in me and kept by brain stimulated with varied learning techniques and a plethora of questions from different sources. Apart from being an excellent tutor, she is a gem of a person and caring guide. She has and will always have a lasting impression on me. One of the best decisions of my life was deciding to join Swati Ma’am’s. 10/10 would recommend.
Four years ago, I stepped beyond the threshold of Ms. Swati Naik's doorway for the first time, chastised by fear for a subject that should have been nothing but inherent. Skepticism weighed heavily on the student who had just received an E.
From that very minimum point till now, I have seen a clear increasing trend in my graph, not only in terms of grades but also confidence in dealing with mathematics.
During the period I spent with ma'am, I realized how much of the subject she embodies - from the reason-based thinking, to the subtle sternness that represents mathematical discipline, and even the acknowledgement of alternative methodologies. Along with these, she also brings warmth and passion that harmonizes into the characteristics of a phenomenal teacher. I owe much of the A* in IG and 6 in IB to her relentless efforts and genuine affection for her students.
Thank you!

Being a student in Swati Ma'am's class has helped foster a passion for math beyond the scope of high school. Not only was she an immensely helpful teacher for the IGCSE and A-Levels, but her teaching style also helped me learn Math from a new perspective, one that has stuck with me going into college.
Going to her class instilled a work ethic in me, from constantly revisiting chapters for revision to applying my knowledge to practice exams. I could see the results for myself, with my performances and confidence improving. From Mathematics to physics, I’d recommend Swati Ma’am’s class to anyone who wants to develop an interest in learning.
Thank you!
